Laars Paaske and Jonas Rasmussen (2008)
They started playing together in the year 2002 and this proved to be an excellent move for Denmark because in 2003 the pair won in the World Championship and that was the first win in 20 years for their home country. In the same year, they won in the China Open and they were the first Europeans to win the said title. With nothing less but an impressive streak, they held the number one position in the world ranking list.
