Markis Kido and Hendra Gunawan (2010)
Markis Kido’s record is nothing short of impressive. The year 2007 was indeed remarkable for this man. He and Hendra Setiawan won the world championships, became the runner-ups in the China Super Series, won the Chinese Taipei Grand Prix Gold event, and they also claimed victory in the Hong Kong Super Series. In 2008, he won the gold medal in the men’s doubles category in the Summer Olympics and he also was victorious in the Denmark Super Series. The following year, he also won gold in the Southeast Asian Games and in 2010 he won gold in the Asian Games.
